Taq-e Bostan
Q940045Taq-e Bostan ("the arch of the garden"): site of several Sasanian rock reliefs, on the northeastern outskirts of modern Kermanshah.
At Taq-e Bostan ("the arch of the garden"), situated in the neighborhood of modern Kermanshah, several Sasanian reliefs can be found:
In front of the monuments is a little artificial lake and an ancient garden, or "paradise". They were probably created in the Parthian age, but the reliefs are younger.
